忆及卡特，美国弗吉尼亚大学名誉教授雷朴实(Bruce Reynolds)在接受中新网采访时表示，卡特为人正直、聪颖，他训练有素，且做事尽心尽力，是一个以事实和分析做判断的人。
雷朴实指出，卡特一生都在倡导和平，始终坚信应该做正确的事，他的勇气有助于推动中美两国建交。卡特坚信，这些举措是正义之举。(薛凌桥)
Jimmy Carter, who served as the 39th president of the United States from 1977 to 1981, died on Dec. 29, 2024, at the age of 100. Among Carter's many diplomatic achievements during his presidency, perhaps the most notable was promoting the establishment of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China.
Recalling former U.S. president Jimmy Carter, Bruce Reynolds, a professor emeritus from the University of Virginia (UVA), told China News Network that Carter is a man of morality, intelligence. He is well-trained with committed attitude throughout his career. Besides, he is a man believed in facts and analysis.
Reynolds further pointed out that Carter is committed to making peace all his life and he is persisted in doing right things. He added that it is Carter’s courage that makes the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China possible, In the eyes of Carter making peace represents doing right things . 12。增强金融服务功能。鼓励自贸试验区内非金融企业和金融机构与共建“一带一路”国家金融机构创新合作方式、深化交流合作。支持境外金融机构在自贸试验区依法依规新设银行、保险、证券等法人金融机构。将自贸试验区内中外资银行分行级以下分支机构（不含分行）设立、变更、终止和高级管理人员任职资格核准事项，保险支公司及以下分支机构设立、迁址、撤销和高级管理人员任职资格核准事项，由事前审批改为事后报告。鼓励银行业金融机构按照法治化、市场化原则加大对自贸试验区基础设施及配套设施建设的金融支持力度。支持在自贸试验区内综合保税区开展期货保税交割、融资租赁、仓单质押融资等业务。
论坛官方发布的名单显示，研讨会的发言嘉宾有20位，来自美方的嘉宾有美国昆西国家事务研究所东亚项目首席主任迈克尔·史文，以及美国海军分析中心副总裁冯德威。
依托双边政府间合作平台和联动机制，推动与共建“一带一路”国家在大宗商品贸易、境外承包工程、边民互市等领域开展人民币跨境结算。
