As we welcome the dawn of 2025, China's international "circle of friends" has sent warm wishes to mark the occasion. Erik Nilsson, a seasoned American journalist who has been telling China's stories for 18 years, recently expressed his hopes in fluent Chinese during an interview with China News Network, wishing all his Chinese friends success, good health, and happiness.
Linjie Chou Zanadu, a Chinese scholar and associate professor at the European Center for Peace and Development, highlighted China's rapid technological advancements. He predicted that Chinese electric vehicles will expand into more developing countries, becoming synonymous with advanced technology and reliable quality. 黄永宏表示了谨慎的乐观，相信会有成果。他认为，中美关系是区域和全球的核心议题。中美目前并不处在能以解决核心分歧为目标的阶段，外界也并没有如此期望。但中美双方可以在经济、防务，以及气候变化、巴以冲突等问题上达成共识，并且应该持续推进这种共识，以保证任何可达成的或之前达成共识的事情，不会被其他问题干扰。
